UZBEKISTAN Program and Exhibitions

Program:

In 2001, Republic of Uzbekistan is 10th anniversary of the proclamation of the Independence. In May, The Program was done in the Capital, Tashkent and the ancient city, Samarkand. A total of 104 children, aged from 6 to 17, participated and took photographs. The Exhibition in Japan was held in 2001-2002. The historical, traditional and "young new" country is shown through the Uzbekistan Children, which was very well received, presented widely by media. Exhibition tour in Uzbekistan was done in August 2002 with the photographs taken by Japanese children, which turned out significant cultural exchange through photography (supported by The Japan Foundation).
