WONDER EYES PROJECT Pamphlet - 「WONDER RIO - BRAZIL」「WONDER EYES BRAZIL」

We made the Wonder Eyes Project Pamplhet of Brazil, RIO and distributed for free at the photo exhibition "WONDER RIO - BRAZIL” "WONDER EYES BRAZIL" in 2014, and in the other events.
A5 in size, 32 pages in color, with the photos by the Brazilian children who participated in the project in 2013 in Rio de Janeiro, Tocantins and Para. Thanks for the support by the companies and for all (Ms.Yuko Yamada, Mr.Fumio Hashimoto, Mr.Hiroyuki Hata, Mr.Naohisa Kawakami, Mr.Kensuke Mori, Mr.Yujiro Ohshima, Mr.Minoru Suda) who did donation.

Rio is full of wonder, energy and fascinating spirit. Mixed with the beauty of nature and the city, brilliant sunshine, white sand beach and modern buildings, cheerful people different in color… In the big city with about 7 million people, the middle class people are increasing, and also the shanty areas. These areas, so called “favela”(community) are expanding in Rio and those population is said to be one fifth of the City.
In 2013, Wonder Eyes Project did the photo workshop with the children at 12 communities, collaborated with "SESI-Citizenship” of FIRJAN.

This is the Joint Exhibition, showing around 100 photos : "ordinary" face of Rio by the pure eyes of the children living in the communities of Rio, and the different aspects by Hikaru Nagatake, photographer and director of Wonder Eyes Project.

Participation at the exposition @Okayama CLC

Oct.9-11, 2014@ Okayama Convention Center

One of the UNESCO World Conference on ESD was held in Oct.9-11, 2014 in Okayama Convention Center in Japan. ESD is “Education for Sustainable Development”promoted by UNESCO, and 2005-2014 is United Nations Decade of ESD. The Conference was focused on "Community Learning Center (CLC)”, participated 29 countries with 600 people.
Wonder Eyes Project distributed the project pamphlet at the exposition of Convention Center, as we did the project in 2013 at the community centers in Rio City 2013.
